According to The Telegraph, Celtic moving to sign Joe Hart is now in doubt after they looked to the European market instead.
It’s claimed that the Bhoys are looking across Europe for a new goalkeeper as they seek to land a replacement for Fraser Forster.
Forster seemingly won’t heading back to Parkhead after a season-long loan spell from Southampton, whilst Craig Gordon has left for Hearts.
A move for free agent Hart is now ‘in doubt’ because of Celtic’s new approach, seemingly putting Hart on the back burner.
The ex-England international is without a club after leaving Burnley, and The Scottish Sun recently claimed that Hart is hoping to join Celtic.
That now looks a little unlikely, unless Celtic can’t find themselves a foreign stopper who can come in and replace Forster.

The Daily Mail reported earlier this month that Celtic are interested in AEK Athens goalkeeper Vasilios Barkas, and had been quoted £5million for him.
Celtic may now instead pursue somebody like Barkas instead of Hart, leaving the veteran stopper in limbo as a move to Parkhead seemingly fades away.
