The Express report that Celtic are set to complete their move for Lewis Morgan today.

Morgan is to be unveiled as a Celtic player following his £300,000 move from St Mirren.

The winger will be sent back on loan to the Scottish Championship leaders until the end of the season.

Morgan has impressed for St Mirren this season and allowing him to return to the club on loan allowed Celtic to land him ahead of their competitors.

The youngster is a former Rangers academy kid, and the Gers appear to have been caught napping by Celtic on this one.

£300,000 is a small amount for a player who could go onto become a Scotland regular for years to come.

The Daily Record had reported that St Mirren were unwilling to sanction the deal unless Morgan was loaned back to them.

Celtic are favourites to win the Premiership title in any case, and ceding to that demand is a small sacrifice to have him on their books for next season, despite injuries to Jonny Hayes and Patrick Roberts.
