Celtic have shown a firm interest in signing Isaac Price but the Everton talent looks set to join Ronny Deila at Standard Liege.
The Bhoys are heading towards another Scottish Premiership title under Ange Postecoglou.
Celtic can’t rest on their laurels though and will be looking for more signing to bolster Postecoglou’s squad.
The Liverpool Echo now report that Celtic have shown an interest in snapping up Everton talent Isaac Price.
The 19-year-old is out of contract this summer and is seemingly ready to walk away from Everton.
Celtic fancy luring Price up to Parkhead but it looks like the Bhoys are set to miss out.
It’s stated that Price is closing in on a move to Belgium with Standard Liege.
That means that whilst Celtic will miss out on Price, their former boss Ronny Deila – now in charge of Standard – is set to win the race.
Barring a late turn of events, it looks like Celtic will be missing out on Price.

Celtic target Isaac Price clashed with Matt O’Riley
Price actually featured against Celtic earlier this season and may have put himself on the Bhoys’ radar.
Everton met Celtic in the Sydney Super Cup back in November as the two teams played friendlies in the World Cup break.
A 0-0 draw ended with Everton winning a penalty shootout but Price caused some controversy.
Price hit Celtic ace Matt O’Riley with a strong challenge that the Celtic star felt could have been a leg breaker.
O’Riley fumed about Price’s high challenge and felt he was lucky not to receive a lengthy injury.
Price didn’t feel the challenge was a red card but admitted that it may have been a ‘naughty’ challenge.
With Celtic set to miss out on Price, at least there won’t be an awkward reunion with O’Riley at Bhoys training any time soon.
