Celtic have received a triple injury boost ahead of the weekend clash with Rangers.

Olivier Ntcham, Tom Rogic and Dedryck Boyata were all pictured in training yesterday, The Scottish Sun report.

Rogic and Ntcham have not featured at all for Celtic in 2019. Both players have starred in wins over Rangers in the past.

Boyata mysteriously pulled out of Belgium’s squad for their Euro 2020 qualifier with Cyprus.

His presence at training for Celtic indicates there was no reason to worry, and raises the possibility that he was simply done a favour by being allowed to return early ahead of a crucial club game.

Boyata is a likely starter for Celtic against Rangers. Celtic may choose not to risk Rogic or Boyata from the start given their lack of game time.

One worry is left-back Kieran Tierney.

Tierney has struggled with injuries all season and missed the previous Old Firm tie, which Celtic lost 1-0.

He was not present at training yesterday and while there are a few days before Sunday’s game, Celtic would be wise to make alternate plans at left-back.
