Celtic reportedly want to hire West Ham United manager David Moyes as a replacement for Ange Postecoglou, who has moved to Tottenham Hotspur.
FootMercato journalist Santi Aouna has reported on Twitter that West Ham United boss David Moyes “is the priority” at Celtic to replace Tottenham Hotspur-bound Ange Postecoglou.
The reporter has added that should Moyes leave the Hammers, then the London club would try to bring former Liverpool and Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers.
Paulo Fonseca is also a manager on the radar of the Hammers, according to the journalist.
Tottenham have announced that they have appointed Postecoglou as their new head coach.
Aouna wrote on Twitter (2:58pm, June 5, 2023): “Understand David Moyes is the priority at Celtic Glasgow to replace Ange Postecoglou who has already agreed a deal with Tottenham.
“Brendan Rodgers is West Ham’s leading candidate if David Moyes leaves the Hammers. Paulo Fonseca is also in the list.”

West Ham United manager David Moyes would be brilliant for Celtic
In our opinion, West Ham United boss David Moyes would be a brilliant managerial appointment for Celtic.
Moyes is one of the best and most experienced managers around.
The 60-year-old is also a former Celtic player and knows what the club is all about.
And he could win the UEFA Europa Conference League with West Ham this week.
Now, of course, West Ham may not want Moyes to leave and the Scotsman himself may not be inclined to part company with the London club, but if Celtic are able to bring him to Celtic Park, then we have no doubt that he will be a huge success at the Scottish outfit.
