Celtic are reportedly set to make a move for Hibernian midfielder John McGinn.

According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic are preparing a move for Hibernian midfielder John McGinn – and will offer up Scott Allan as part of their bid.
The Bhoys clinched a second straight domestic treble under Brendan Rodgers earlier this month, and now head into the transfer window seeking new additions.
Whilst a permanent deal for Paris Saint-Germain forward Odsonne Edouard is the priority, manager Rodgers will be looking for other additions – and one Scottish star is now being linked.

The Scottish Sun report that Celtic are plotting a move for Hibernian ace John McGinn, and are planning to offer Scott Allan in part-exchange for the midfielder.
McGinn, 23, has been a star for Hibernian since his 2015 move from St Mirren, and has even earned seven caps for Scotland off the back of his displays at Easter Road.
Many expect McGinn to leave Hibernian this summer, and whilst a host of clubs have been linked with a move for the midfielder, he is understood to be a boyhood Celtic fan, which would make a move to the Bhoys very appealing.

Celtic will now hope to win the race by offering Allan in a permanent deal, having loaned the 26-year-old to Neil Lennon’s men during the January transfer window.
Allan left Hibs for Celtic in 2015 but has been an outcast at Celtic Park, with a move back to Edinburgh potentially needed to get him back on track – but it’s unclear just how much Celtic would need to offer on top of Allan to land McGinn.
