Burnley, Liverpool and West Ham United are interested in Omar Colley but Scottish champions Celtic are the only side to have made a bid for the Sampdoria defender, according to SampNews24.
Barely a week has gone by in this window without the 6ft 3in Gambian being linked with a move to Britain.
But with just a few days remaining until deadline, the smart money is on Colley staying at Claudio Ranieri’s Samp side for another year.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has all but ruled out defensive additions before Monday’s deadline – despite seeing his unusually slack back line sliced apart on numerous occasions during the 3-1 win over Arsenal this week (Guardian).
West Ham also made an approach for Colley but it seems the late-blooming 27-year-old was well down their hit list behind the likes of James Tarkowski and Wesley Fofana.
Burnley, meanwhile, seemingly saw Colley as a replacement for Tarkowski at Turf Moor. With the England international now expected to stay, the Clarets have yet to turn their interest in one of Serie A’s top defenders into anything more tangible.

Reports from Italy claim only one club on UK soil has made a bid for a defender with an £11 million release clause – Neil Lennon’s Celtic.
But even that trail has grown cold of late.
Celtic have already snapped up boyhood fanatic Shane Duffy from Brighton. And, while AC Milan continue to be linked with Kristoffer Ajer, technical director Paulo Maldini confirmed the Norwegian is far from their first-choice target (Sky Italia).
Colley, it seems, can put all that speculation to the back of his mind – until January at least.
