Twumasi was believed to be a top target for Rodgers, but it’s now claimed that a deal looks unlikely to materialise, just weeks away from the start of the summer transfer window.
Celtic may simply not have been interested in the Ghanaian forward to begin with, but if Rodgers has changed his mind ahead of the January transfer window, it may well be down to Odsonne Edouard’s form.
The French attacker recently hit a hat-trick against Motherwell to kickstart his Bhoys career after a slow start, and Rodgers may now prefer to see how the Paris Saint-Germain loanee fares over the coming months, rather than bring in another attacking player in January.
