According to a report in the Daily Record, Celtic currently have no plans to make a third bid for Eupen youngster Henry Onyekuru but have certainly not given up hope of landing the forward.
The Record reports that the Hoops have made two bids for Onyekuru, but have so far been unable to land the 19-year-old despite his attempts to force through a move by going AWOL.

But while the Record confirms that the Bhoys are not considering making a third attempt to bring the teenager to Parkhead at this stage, they are planning to keep communication open with the Belgian side in case their stance on the player’s future changes.
Though Onyekuru may well have damaged his relationship with his current club significantly with his reported actions following news of Celtic’s interest, there is surely no question that they will want to keep him for as long as possible given his current form.
The prospect has scored 10 times and contributed four assists in the top flight, and that form has been a key reason why the side – who only came up to the highest level last season – have some daylight between themselves and the relegation zone.
And if he maintains that kind of form over the coming months, then Celtic will surely have to consider making another approach given that his actions (via Record) suggest that he has at least some interest in a move to the Scottish Premiership.
