The Dundee man has been watched by both Newcastle United and Southampton, but Celtic have reportedly submitted an offer for the 22-year-old.

According to the Daily Mail, the Hoops have submitted a £500,000 bid for Dundee defender Jack Hendry, with Brendan Rodgers desperate to bolster his centre-back options.
The 22-year-old has really impressed this season, with his calm and composed displays.
Hendry is more than capable with the ball at his feet – something that makes him ideally suited to Celtic’s playing style.
The Scot has been ever present for his Dundee side in the Scottish Premiership this season, appearing in all of their 22 games.

He has proven that he not only has ball-playing skills, but that he can also mix it physically.
The Daily Mail claim that the Glasgow giants have submitted their bid for Hendry in an attempt to beat of competition from Premier League clubs including the likes of Newcastle United and Southampton.

Hendry is strong in the air, quick along the ground, and plays with a certain kind of maturity that defies his tender years.
For the price of just £500,000, Celtic might just be making one of the signings of the season, if Dundee actually accept their offer of course.
