It is reported in Holland that the Swede is not keen on a return to Holland.

Celtic currently have John Guidetti on loan from Manchester City. The Swede is a free agent in the summer and is currently considering his options.

One of those is a potential switch to Feyenoord.

Guidetti also played at Feyenoord on loan, in the 2011-12 campaign. Guidetti was a massive fan favourite during his loan spell with Feyenoord. He scored 20 goals in 23 games before it all came unstuck with a bizarre illness which attacked his nervous system and left him out of action for over a year.

The striker, who has scored 15 goals in 36 appearances for Celtic this season, however does not look like going to Feyenoord – if reports from yesterday prove true.

It was being reported yesterday that Sporting Lisbon were keen on the player. Amid the interest from the Portuguese giants also came a report in De Telegraaf regarding his potential Feyenoord future.

The Dutch paper claims that, despite the best efforts of Guidetti, he is simply not talking to the Rotterdam club about a move back to the Eredivisie.

It sounds almost like Guidetti is the pretty girl, not returning the calls of the amorous admirer.

Whether Celtic remain keen on a player who may be more trouble than he is worth remains to be seen. But it looks as though the Swede is giving his former club the cold shoulder.
