According to Calciomercato, Celtic have joined Newcastle United and Burnley in the race to sign Sampdoria’s 6ft 3inch central defender Omar Colley.
The Gambian international has been heavily linked with an exit from Sampdoria.
Premier League duo Southampton and West Ham United were accredited with an interest back in January (Goal), and now he reportedly has even more British suitors.

Calciomercato say Newcastle and Burnley make up Premier League interest, while Scottish Premiership champions Celtic are also keen on his signature.
Sampdoria, meanwhile, are seeking a £13 million fee for the defender.
“Already in January there were real interests from the Premier League. No offers have been made, but he could adapt himself to English football by characteristics,” his agent Umberto Riva told TMW in June.
Colley, 27, made 30 Serie A starts in 2019-20, averaging 4.8 clearances per game (Whoscored).
Newcastle may see him as an ideal alternative to central defenders Federico Fernandez, Fabian Schar and Jamaal Lascelles with Ciaran Clark falling out of favour.
The Magpies will want to press on next season after a decent campaign.
Burnley, on the other hand, may fear losing James Tarkowski this summer. The 27-year-old is instrumental for the Clarets, starting every league game this past season.
Celtic could have fears over Kristoffer Ajer’s long-term future at Celtic Park. Hatem Elhamed, meanhwile, has struggled to break in following his arrival in 2019.
