Report: Celtic interested in Husein Balic

Neil Lennon’s Celtic reportedly want to sign Husein Balic.

Celtic are interested in signing Husein Balic from SKN St. Polten in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.

It has been reported that the Austrian winger is available for £700,000, and that the Hoops are looking at securing his services.

The report has also claimed that Celtic will face competition from clubs in England for the youngster.

Good signing for Celtic?

Balic is only 22 years of age, and the winger will be a very good signing for Celtic in the summer transfer window.

The youngster has pace and is tricky, and he will be a smart long-term signing for the Hoops.

Title defence

Celtic have won the Scottish Premiership title for the past eight seasons, and the Glasgow giants will be favourites to make it nine in a row in 2019-20 as well.

Rangers did push the Hoops hard in the first half of last season, and Seven Gerrard’s side will be determined to give their bitter Old Firm rivals a run for their money all the way during the 2019-20 campaign.
