Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic have been linked with Arthur Okonkwo of Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Celtic are targeting the 16-year-old goalkeeper as he has yet to sign a new contract with Arsenal.

The England Under-17 international wants to remain at the Gunners, according to the report, which also states that there is no agreement over a new deal.
Okonkwo will become a free agent in the summer, and Scottish Premiership club Celtic and German side RB Leipzig want to sign him, according to the report.

Promising talent
Standing at 6ft 5in, Okonkwo is a hugely talented and promising young goalkeeper who will go places.
At 16, the English youngster will not be ready for the Celtic first team for a couple of more years at least, but he will be a brilliant long-term signing for the Glasgow giants in the summer transfer window.
Celtic have identified a top talent, and it remains to be seen if the Hoops are able to convince him to make the move to Celtic Park in the summer transfer window.
