Neil Lennon’s Celtic reportedly want Tommy Smith from Huddersfield Town in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Celtic are interested in signing Smith from Huddersfield in the summer transfer window.
The Terriers, who will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League, want as much as £4 million as transfer fee for the 27-year-old right-back, but the Hoops do not want to pay more than £3m for the Englishman, according to the report.
The Daily Record has claimed that Celtic and Huddersfield are locked in talks over the transfer of the 27-year-old.

Good signing for Celtic?
Smith made 13 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Huddersfield last season, while back in 2017-28, the right-back made 21 starts and three substitute appearances in the league for the Terriers, according to WhoScored.
With Mikael Lustig having left Celtic this summer, the Hoops do need to sign a right-back, and Smith fits the bill.
