Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic reportedly want to sign Daniel Arzani on loan once the Melbourne City teenager joins Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Celtic are confident of landing Arzani on loan from Premier League champions City this summer.
A deal for the Citizens to sign the 19-year-old from Melbourne City is close to completion, and the Hoops will then secure the services of the Australia international on loan, according to the report.
According to Herald Scotland, City and City held talks over the youngster last night.
Good signing for Celtic?
Arzani is a very talented and versatile footballer who can operate as an attacking midfielder and winger.
The Australian was the youngster player at the 2018 World Cup in Russia this summer, and Celtic would be pulling off quite a coup if they are able to secure his services this summer.
Celtic already have a strong attacking unit, and the addition of the City teenager is only going to make the Hoops stronger for the 2018-19 campaign.
