Steven Gerrard’s Rangers were credited with interest in the striker earlier this week, but can they lure him to Ibrox with others seemingly keen?

Rangers AND Celtic are monitoring Jack Marriott, according to the Scottish Sun.
Interest from Ibrox, where Steven Gerrard was made manager on a four-year deal last week, was first reported by Sky Sports on Wednesday.
However, it seems Rangers are not the only Old Firm side keen on the 33-goal Peterborough United striker, with the Scottish Sun claiming that Celtic have also sent scouts to watch him this season.

The report adds, however, that Celtic are not expected to follow up their interest with a concrete bid – although there is a chance that could change if Moussa Dembele is sold and/or a permanent deal for Odsonne Edouard fails to materialise.
According to the Scottish Sun, the Bhoys, at least, will not have to endure the sight of Marriott at Rangers, with Peterborough’s plus-£5-million asking price ‘expected to put off’ the Ibrox outfit.

English Championship trio Leeds United, Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest are also credited with interest in the Yorkshireman, who Posh are resigned to losing.
Rangers, Celtic, somewhere else? Where will Marriott end up?
