Celtic’s reported quest to appoint Jesse Marsch as their new manager has become difficult now.
According to The Sun, Marsch is one of the managers Celtic are looking at as a potential permanent successor to Neil Lennon.
Lennon left his role as the Celtic manager last month, with John Kennedy placed in charge of the first team until the end of the season.
The Sun has claimed that RB Salzburg manager Marsch is among those the Hoops are looking at.
However, Celtic are not the only club who are interested in appointing the 47-year-old as their new manager.
Bild has claimed that Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig have long chosen the American as the successor to Julian Nagelsmann should he leave.
The 33-year-old is reported to be on the radar of Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich.

Celtic or RB Leipzig?
Celtic are a massive club and there is no doubt that the Hoops are very appealing, but RB Leipzig could be more tempting to Marsch.
After all, Leipzig regularly compete for the Bundesliga title and play in the Champions League.
The German club also have wonderful players in their squad, such as Marcel Sabitzer, Angelino and Ibrahima Konate.
