According to the Daily Record, Celtic want to take West Ham United striker Albian Ajeti on loan – but the Hammers want a big fee.
Reports emerged from Sky Sports on Tuesday, claiming that the Bhoys were hoping to bring Ajeti to Parkhead this summer.
Now, it’s stated that Celtic do fancy a loan deal for Ajeti, but West Ham are seeking a ‘big fee’ for any loan move.
Premier League and Championship clubs are thought to be keen too, which is leaving the Hammers to believe they can secure a significant loan fee.
Ajeti, 23, joined West Ham in an £8million deal last summer, but hasn’t even started a Premier League game since his arrival.
The Swiss attacker has played just four minutes of first-team action since football returned, and David Moyes would seemingly let him go.

Celtic must now decide whether Ajeti is worth paying a considerable loan fee for, with the prospect of a Mohamed Elyounoussi reunion surely appealing.
The pair played together at Basel, racking up 30 goals and 22 together in the 2017-18 season – and there could be a chance for them to resume that partnership at Celtic.
