Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side’s chances of landing Odsonne Edouard from PSG have been boosted, with the French club needing to raise funds.

PSG have been told that they need to bring in £52 million in the next month by UEFA to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.
And that could see Edouard complete his permanent move to Celtic.

The Bhoys are known to want to bring Edouard to Parkhead, after his loan spell with Brendan Rodgers’ side this past season.
Celtic are now set for crunch talks with the French outfit, as they look to negotiate a deal for the forward.

Celtic already have agreed a price for Edouard in their loan deal and are said to be willing to pay a club record fee to land the 20-year-old.
Edouard netted 11 goals in 29 appearances across all competitions last term, with his form for Rodgers’ side catching the eye.
