According to the Daily Record, Oostende are signing Celtic defender Jack Hendry for just £1.5million amid links to Leeds United.
Oostende took Hendry on loan last summer, and had a permanent option in the deal – one they always looked likely to activate after a superb season in Belgium.
That has now happened according to the latest reports, with Oostende activating their £1.5million option and keeping Hendry, who was once compared to John Stones.
Quick sale on the cards with Leeds keen?
Just how long Hendry actually stays in Belgium is up for debate though as Oostende may look to sell quickly and make a swift profit.
90Min claimed last week that Leeds, Burnley, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace, West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield United all want 26-year-old Hendry.
Clubs are believed to be willing to pay £10million to sign Hendry, more than six times what Celtic are selling him for now.

Would Hendry make sense for Leeds?
Marceo Bielsa has great balance with his four main centre backs; two right footers in Diego Llorente and Robin Koch, and two left footers in Liam Cooper and Pascal Struijk.
Koch and Llorente did endure injury problems last season, so Leeds may view Hendry as another option in that area, or they may want Koch to play as more of a holding midfielder.
£10million still seems like a lot though, and Hendry’s future will surely become clearer soon with Oostende now picking up that permanent option.
