Lustig’s departure has left Celtic low on specialist senior right-backs.

Celtic could make a move for the FC Copenhagen right-back Peter Ankersen as Mikael Lustig’s replacement, according to The Sun.
Lustig this week became the third player in his position to leave Celtic Park since the end of last season.
And it is claimed that finding his successor will be one of the first tasks set to the Bhoys’ new director of football, Nicky Hammond.
Meanwhile, The Sun adds that Ankersen is leaving Copenhagen this summer and Celtic are aware of his availability as they weigh up all options.

But a fee may still be required, as the Dane still has a year left to run on his contract, according to Transfermarkt.
Ankersen, who has 22 caps for his country, has appeared for notable clubs, Rosenborg and Red Bull Salzburg.

And the 28-year-old was also linked with a move to Newcastle United around the time of his return to Denmark with Copenhagen.
Would Ankersen be a good addition for Celtic?
