Liam Henderson has fallen down the pecking order at Celtic under Brendan Rodgers – so a reunion with Neil Lennon at Hibs could be ideal.

A superb loan spell with Hibernian last season, helping the Edinburgh club to their first Scottish Cup title in 114 years, has counted for very little at Celtic for Liam Henderson.
The 21-year-old has started just five Scottish Premiership games all season under Brendan Rodgers with Stuart Armstrong, Scott Brown, Tom Rogic, Nir Bitton, plus the improving Callum McGregor and January addition Eboue Kouassi, all ahead of him in the pecking order.
As such, the Daily Record reports that Henderson may be on his way out of Celtic in the summer – and the sheer lack of opportunities given to him this season suggest a move would be better for both parties.
A clever and creative central midfielder capable of scything open an opposition backline with a perfectly weighted through ball, Henderson will not be short of suitors if Celtic do indeed decide to cash in.

The Scottish Sun reported recently that Hibernian were keen on a reunion in the summer. Former Celtic manager Neil Lennon gave Henderson his senior debut as a precocious 17-year-old all the way back in 2013 and the midfielder would surely be better served working under a coach who believes whole-heartedly in his ability.
Furthermore, with Hibs back in the top flight after storming to promotion and setting their sights upon a top six finish, Henderson would be joining a club on the up.
