According to VG in Norway, Crotone have sent an official bid to Bodo/Glimt for Celtic target Kasper Junker.
It’s claimed that the Italian side have made an offer of around NOK 15 million, which converets to around £1.3million.
Agent Christian Bysted has suggested that the bid is a ‘fair price’ for Junker, but it’s now up to Bodo/Glimt to decide whether a deal is done.
Bodo/Glimt general manager Frode Thomassen claims that it ‘does not sound like a reasonable price’ for Junker though, meaning Crotone may need to come back with more cash.
Crotone sit bottom of the Serie A table with just 12 points this season, meaning a move may not be all that appealing to Junker.
He’s seen ex-Bodo teammates Jens Petter Hauge and Philip Zinckernagel earn moves to AC Milan and Watford respectively, and Crotone’s bid could spark others in to life.

TEAMtalk reported last month that Celtic are keen on signing Junker, and they could surely improve on the £1.3million being offered for the Dane.
Junker, 26, smashed 28 goals in 26 games for Bodo/Glimt in 2020, meaning he understandably attracting interest – but whether Celtic can swoop in and get a deal done remains to be seen.
