According to the Daily Record, Celtic are prepared to axe Olivier Ntcham to free up money for incoming boss Ange Postecoglou.
It’s claimed that AEK Athens are really pushing to sign Ntcham this summer after Marseille chose not to sign him permanently.
Turkish side Sivasspor are also keen on Ntcham, but a move to AEK is viewed as being more likely as things stand.
Celtic want Ntcham gone
Ntcham still has a year left on his Celtic deal, but the Bhoys may simply pay up his final year in order to get him out.
Celtic allegedly want to clear the decks to allow Ange Postecoglou – expected to be named Bhoys boss soon – to rebuild the squad.
Getting Ntcham’s wages off the books would help, and we could see his contract ripped up in order to make that happen.

Rodgers was a huge fan
Brendan Rodgers forked out £4.5million to sign Ntcham from Manchester City in the summer of 2017, seeing big potential in the Frenchman.
Rodgers branded Ntcham ‘wonderful’ in 2018, showing just how highly he rated the midfielder after a nine-goal, six-assist debut season.
Neil Lennon failed to really get the best out of Ntcham, and after being loaned out to Marseille, it looks like his Celtic career will end with a whimper.
