Celtic have reportedly failed with a move for Henry Onyekuru.
According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic are weighing up a new bid for Eupen starlet Henry Onyekuru – despite allegedly being told that he’s not for sale.
The Bhoys have landed one new signing so far this month, with Ivorian midfielder Kouassi Eboue arriving from Russian side Krasnodar pending a work permit.

With just ten days to go until the transfer window slams shut, Celtic may yet move for more new signings before the end of the month – and a new attacker seems to be on Brendan Rodgers’ wish list.
Earlier today, the Daily Record reported that Celtic had seen a bid rejected for Eupen star Henry Onyekuru, who has been catching the eye in Belgian football this season.

Onyekuru, 19, joined Eupen from the Aspire Academy in 2015, and he’s hit 12 goals in just 25 games so far this season, playing either up wide or up front.
The Nigerian is attracting major interest, and the Daily Record’s report suggested that Celtic had been told in no uncertain terms that Onyekuru isn’t leaving Eupen until the summer.
However, The Scottish Sun claim that Celtic are now considering increasing their bid for Onyekuru, in the hope of convincing Eupen to sell their prized asset, but they may have to offer considerable more then their first bid, which was believed to be just in excess of £1million.
A pacey attacker with huge potential, Onyekuru could be the latest young talent to join the Bhoys after Moussa Dembele over the summer, and more recently Eboue, but convincing Eupen to sell before this month’s deadline may be difficult.
