According to the Daily Record, Celtic have been alerted to the availability of Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts.
It’s claimed that Celtic want to add at least one more winger to their squad in January, and are weighing up their options.
One potential signing is Roberts, with Celtic allegedly looking into the possibility of bringing him back to Parkhead.
Roberts is currently on loan at Middlesbrough, but has been told that he can leave the club in search of first-team football elsewhere.
The 23-year-old has started just three league games for Boro this season, and is clearly stagnating at the Riverside Stadium.
City will surely want to get him fixed up with another club in January, and a return to Glasgow could make sense for the winger.

He spent two-and-a-half years on loan at Celtic between January 2016 and the summer of 2018, racking up 18 goals in 79 games for the Bhoys.
Heading back to Celtic may help him recapture his best form, and Roberts would surely jump at the chance to re-join the Bhoys having been through disappointing spells with Girona, Norwich City and now Middlesbrough.
