According to the Daily Record, Celtic won’t be able to bring defender Jack Hendry back to the club from his loan spell at Oostende.
Celtic’s pandemic-related nightmare means they have been recalling players from loan spells away from the club, such as Ross Doohan and Scott Robertson.
However, Celtic can’t bring back Hendry, because the Bhoys didn’t put a recall clause into his loan deal with Oostende.
Hendry has been outstanding for Oostende this season, and he could have provided Neil Lennon with another option to bolster his defence.
Instead, Hendry will see out the season in Belgium, where he has turned in consistently excellent performances having previously struggled with Celtic.
The 25-year-old has been so good that Aston Villa, Brighton and Wolverhampton Wanderers all want to sign Hendry according to 90Min.

Bournemouth, Werder Bremen, Freiburg, Brondby, AZ Alkmaar and Genk all want Hendry too, meaning he is a man in demand ahead of the summer window.
Hendry’s future appears to lie away from Celtic, but whilst the Bhoys have to cope without having that recall clause, the Scot could end up landing himself a big move this year.
