According to Tutto Mercato Web, Celtic can sign Hajduk Split prodigy Mario Vuskovic for only slightly more than they offered in January.
As the Italian news outlet explains, the Bhoys saw a €4 million (£3.5 million) bid rejected for the 19-year-old in January.
However, Celtic can now sign the teenager for just €6 million (£5.2 million), while they must also give Hajduk Split a percentage of any future sale.
Torino are also said to be sniffing around the Croatia Under-21 international’s services, according to Tutto Mercato Web.
If Celtic can bring Vuskovic to Glasgow, they’ll be getting an ‘unusual’ player.
That is according to Kresimir Gojun, who is head of Hajduk Split’s academy.

As quoted by the Guardian, Gojun said: “What sets him apart and suggests he might end up playing at an elite level is his unusual set of skills.
“He’s not just dominant in challenges but also exceptional in buildup play. He often scores goals and can score from free-kicks like a No 10.”
In our view, it seems strange that the Croatian outfit would reject Celtic’s offer in January, but would now be willing to sell for just a fraction more.

Perhaps they just wanted to keep him around to achieve their goals in the second half of the campaign.
After all, he’s already a key member of the first-team, despite being just 19 years of age.
So far this season, Vuskovic has made 27 appearances in all competitions, scoring once while also recording one assist.
Celtic must act fast, in case Torino swoop in and meet the asking price.
