Manchester City are said to be close to signing the Australian before sending him to Celtic.

Celtic have beaten off competition from PSV Eindhoven to sign Daniel Arzani from Manchester City, according to the Daily Mail (liveblog entry, 13:13).
The report claims the English champions are close to finalising a deal worth around £280,000 for the winger – who plays for sister club Melbourne City – but will loan him immediately to Celtic.
Arzani, who is also said to have had interest from AS Roma, will hope to make an impact similar to that of another Manchester City winger, Patrick Roberts, at Celtic.
Roberts spent two and a half seasons at Celtic, in which he scored 18 goals, assisted 26 and won seven major trophies.

A move to Celtic Park – who have seen Roberts and Charly Musonda depart in Arzani’s position since the end of last season – would reunite the 19-year-old with Tom Rogic, his Australian national team colleague.
Will the new Manchester City recruit thrive for Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic?
