Emmanuel Adebayor is being linked with a move back to Britain.

According to The Sun, Celtic and West Ham United are both interested in signing striker Emmanuel Adebayor this summer.
Adebayor, 35, spent last season with Basaksehir in Turkey, notching four goals and two assists in 24 games for the Super Lig side as they finished second.
Now out of contract, Adebayor is allegedly eyeing up a return to Britain, with interest from Celtic, Watford, West Ham United and newly-promoted Sheffield United.
Italian clubs are also thought to be interested, meaning Adebayor may find himself in demand this summer despite his largely uneventful season in Turkey.
It’s for that very reason though that we’re classing this one as somewhat bizarre, not just for the Premier League sides but also for Celtic.
Adebayor is coming to the end of his career, and at 35, surely doesn’t have enough left in the tank to play in the Premier League, especially if he wasn’t exactly pulling up trees in Turkey.

Signing Adebayor on a free would be somewhat desperate for any Premier League side, whilst Celtic should be looking for younger talent to develop under Neil Lennon as they seek Champions League group stage qualification.
Adebayor looked to be done in the Premier League with Crystal Palace, so it’s hard to imagine that three years on, he’ll suddenly make an impact – and it this bizarre rumour is true, the clubs involved should re-think a move for the Togolese star, whose best years are sadly behind him now.
