Celtic are interested in signing Che Adams from Birmingham City in the summer of 2019, according to The Mirror.

The 22-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as a midfielder, is also reported to be on the radar of Premier League trio Manchester United, Watford and Arsenal.

It has been claimed that Celtic, United, Watford and Arsenal all had representatives at St Andrew’s this past Tuesday evening to watch the youngster in action for Birmingham against Bolton Wanderers in the Championship.

Promising talent

Adams has been on the books of Birmingham since 2016 and has established himself as an important player in manager Garry Monk’s team.

So far this season, the 22-year-old has made 29 starts and three substitute appearances in the Championship for Birmingham, scoring 19 goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

The attacker will be a very good signing for Celtic in the summer of 2019, but with the likes of Premier League heavyweights United and Arsenal also claimed to be interested in him, Brendan Rodgers’s side do not stand much of a chance convincing him to move to the Scottish Premiership.
