Celtic midfielder Scott Brown is reportedly wanted by Western Melbourne.

It has been reported that Australian club Western Melbourne are interested in signing Brown in the summer of 2019.
The Scottish midfielder is out of contract at the Hoops at the end of the season.
“It is believed there was a hitch in the deal with Western Melbourne not assured of the funding required to secure the three-year contract for Brown, although they remain determined to get the player out to Australia,” adds the report in The Glasgow Evening Times.
Celtic exit?
Brown has been on the books of Celtic since the summer of 2007 when he joined from Hibernian for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £4.4 million.
The 33-year-old midfielder has been a serial winner with Celtic and has been a great player for the Glasgow giants for over 10 years.

However, in recent times, there have been signs that the 33-year-old is slowing down, and the former Scotland international is not also not exactly guaranteed a place in manager Brendan Rodgers’s starting lineup.
It will make sense for Brown to call time on his Celtic career at the end of the season and move to the A-League.
