Celtic have accepted that Odsonne Edouard is unlikely to sign a new contact, according to The Times.
It has been reported that Edouard has two years left on his current contract, and that Celtic have accepted that the striker will not sign a new deal.
The report has added that the Glasgow giants are now in a dilemma whether to sell the Frenchman this summer or at the end of the season, given that they are aiming to make it 10 Scottish Premiership titles in a row in 2020-21.
According to The Times, Brighton and Hove Albion are interested in the 22-year-old, who is rated at £30 million.
Celtic stay
Celtic could get a lot of money if they decided to sell Edouard this summer, but the Glasgow giants should keep hold of him.
The Hoops are aiming for an unprecedented 10th league title in a row, and that has to take take precedence over everything else right now.
The Frenchman is arguably the best striker in the Scottish Premiership, and it is not going to be easy for Celtic to replace him this summer.
