According to The Times, Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino still plans to hold a minority share in the club even if they are bought out.
The paper claim investor Andrea Radrizzani is in talks to buy a majority stake in the club, which would involve Cellino retaining an interest in Leeds.
Leeds beat Blackburn Rovers 2-1 last night to lift themselves out of the relegation zone, but this may not be enough to save head coach Garry Monk.

The Times report Cellino was tempted to fire him after just two games this season, and the win over Blackburn has not persuaded him to stick with him, and the result away to Cardiff City this weekend could be crucial.
Leeds are in 17th position, Cellino’s unlucky number, a squad number which he has insisted no players wear, since his takeover in 2014.
It remains unclear to what end the potential takeover is influencing Cellino’s decision one way or another, but what is certain, is that Leeds will be less attractive a proposition to potential buyers as a League One club.
Monk was appointed in the summer, and has had seven league games in charge and two EFL Cup games, which is more than Dave Hockaday (four games) and Dario Milanic (six) lasted as Leeds bosses under Cellino.
The fact he wants to stick around long term, even as a minority owner, may suggest Leeds will not be free of his hire and fire regime any time soon.
