The Southampton right-back is allegedly nearing an exit from St Mary’s.

According to a report from Sky Sports, Southampton defender Cedric Soares is in advanced talks with Inter Milan over the possibility of moving to the San Siro this month.
The Portuguese right-back has been heavily linked with a move away from St Mary’s since Ralph Hasenhüttl took over as manager at the start of last month.
Cedric joined the Saints from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2015, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £4.7 million, and he has gone on to be a solid performer for the south coast club, making 119 appearances in all competitions.
Sky Sports claims that he could be on his way out of Southampton very soon, however.
The right-back is allegedly in advanced talks with Inter Milan over the possibility of a January exit from St Mary’s.

The report fails to mention any kind of fee, but Hasenhüttl will surely be pushing for a rather large amount, considering Cedric’s wealth of experience and quality.
Southampton fans will undoubtedly be sad to see the 33-capped Portugal international leave, but at the same time, they will surely trust Hasenhüttl’s judgement.
