Carlos Carvalhal wants to become the new manager of Celtic, according to The Scottish Sun.
It has been reported that representatives of the former Sheffield Wednesday and Swansea City boss have contacted officials at Celtic to make the pitch.
Good managerial appointment for Celtic?
Carvalhal is without a managerial job at the moment, having parted company with Swansea City at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
The Portuguese narrowly failed to keep Swansea in the Premier League after taking over December 2017.
The 53-year-old also managed Wednesday in the Championship in England, and he took the Owls twice to the playoffs.
Carvalhal is vastly experienced, and his footballing style is also quite good, and it will not be a bad idea for Celtic to give him the chance to make his pitch.
Neil Lennon is in charge of the Hoops at the moment, having been appointed as the manager in February 2019 until the end of the season following the departure of Brendan Rodgers to Leicester City.
