Milan head coach Vincenzo Montella is more than happy for Bacca to stay put at the club where he struck 18 Serie A goals last season, and it is reported he has played a role in the striker’s choice.
Bacca has been linked with a move to West Ham throughout the summer, but the Hammers have been unable to tempt him away from the club.

West Ham’s lack of Champions League football has been a factor and while AC Milan cannot offer him that either, Bacca is evidently not interested in leaving unless he feels he is stepping up a level.
The decision is a shame for West Ham who have been targeting a big name striker all summer, and may have had to compromise this week by signing Andre Ayew from Swansea City.
The dream would have been to sign both Ayew and Bacca but it appears Slaven Bilic’s side will have to look elsewhere.
