According to Africa Top Sports, Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti is determined to sign Christian Luyindama from Galatasaray in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Ancelotti wants to bring the 26-year-old central defender to Goodison Park at any cost.
The report has added that the Toffees will have to spend €15 million (£13.49 million) in transfer fees to convince Galatasaray to sell the DR Congo international
It has been further claimed that Aston Villa and West Ham United are also interested in securing the services of the former TP Mazembe and Standard Liege man this summer.
Stats
According to WhoScored, Luyindama has played 10 times in the Turkish Super Lig, four games in the Champions League, and once in the Turkish Super Cup.
The 26-year-old has not played since November 2019 due to cruciate ligament rupture, but, according to Africa Top Sports, he has been training for several weeks.
Good signing for Everton?
Everton could do with a central defender, and for the reported price of €15 million (£13.49 million) this summer, Luyindama would not be a bad signing at all for the Toffees, given the economic problems that clubs are facing at the moment due to the global health crisis.
