Summer signing Marlon Pack won’t feature for Neil Warnock’s Championship challengers Cardiff City for a number of months.

Cardiff City could enter the free agent pool to cover the loss of injured midfielder Marlon Pack, according to Wales Online.
The Bluebirds pulled off a real coup on the final day of the summer transfer window when they signed Pack from Championship rivals Bristol City.
A Rolls Royce of a midfielder who thrived in a free-flowing Robins side, Pack was supposed to provide a touch of class and creativity at the heart of an otherwise workmanlike Cardiff team.
But their best laid plans were thrown up in the air with manager Neil Warnock claiming that the 28-year-old could now be set for ‘a couple of months’ on the sidelines thanks to a serious leg injury, as reported by the BBC.
As a result, Cardiff are now looking at potential replacements and continue to scour the market for free agents capable of taking Pack’s place in the centre of the park.

But, according to Wales Online, Cardiff have been left frustrated in their search so far with a number of targets asking for long-term contracts or making wage demands that the Championship outfit were never going to agree to.
It remains to be seen which players Cardiff have been looking at but the likes of Joe Ledley, Birkir Bjarnason, Josh McEachren and James Morrison are all out of contract and have plenty of Championship experience under their belts.
