Tottenham Hotspur have snapped up Ipswich Town talent Calum Logan after he arrived at Hotspur Way this weekend to complete his move.
That is according to a report from Football London, who claim that Logan arrived at Hotspur Way on Friday afternoon.
Logan went through the usual procedures to get his deal over the line and will join the Tottenham academy.
It’s stated that Tottenham actually wanted to sign Logan last summer having caught the eye of Spurs scouts.
Logan decided to stay with Ipswich at the time but has now decided the time is right to join Spurs.
The 16-year-old is predominantly a left-sided centre back – a profile many teams are now wanting to sign in the modern game.
Logan is an England under-17 international and Tottenham will feel that they have secured a real star of the future.
Logan, who was spotted as a kid playing for Ravens Youth down in Chelmsford, was very highly rated in the Ipswich ranks.
The Tractor Boys have brought though the likes of Darren Bent, Keiron Dyer and Richard Wright over the years and Logan will hope to follow in their footsteps by becoming a Premier League regular.

Tottenham continue youth recruitment with Calum Logan deal
Tottenham have been productive of late when it comes to adding young talents for the future.
Spurs secured defender Tyrell Ashcroft from Reading and St Pat’s Athletic goalkeeper Josh Keeley last summer before snapping up Sheffield United striker Will Lankshear.
January brought another arrival as Chelsea forward Jude Soonsup-Bell traded West London for the north of the capital.
Tottenham have even won the race to sign young attacker Herbie James from Manchester City, beating Everton and Wolves to his signature.
Logan is now the latest addition to the Tottenham youth ranks and he will be hoping to rise up and become a first-team player one day.
