Tottenham are reportedly set to do battle with Juventus for the North Korean striker.
Italian outlet Gazetta Dello Sport have claimed Cagliari have told Juventus that they must spend £7.9million to sign North Korean forward Kwang-Song Han, with Tottenham Hotspur also reportedly interested.
Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur have made contact with the representatives of the Cagliari teenager, who is currently on loan with Serie B side Perugia.
The three-time North Korea under-19 international has shone in the second tier of Italian football this season, playing behind the striker, as a striker or on either flank and scoring seven goals in 19 league and cup appearances.
He has also added three assists in those matches and that has alerted both Juventus and Tottenham to his progress, with both clubs now fully aware that it will take less than £8million to land his signature.
Juve could have the upper hand in any deal, though, as the report states that they are willing to offer three second-string players to Cagliari as makeweights.
Goalkeeper Emil Audero, midfielder Fabrizio Caligara and striker Alberto Cerri could all join Cagliari if the Serie A side decide to sell their teenage prodigy.
But Spurs could still make a late move with the fee more than affordable for chairman Daniel Levy, in what would be Tottenham’s first signing of the January transfer window.
