Leeds United have been strongly linked with the Hull City striker, but face competition with Cagliari the latest to reportedly show interest.

Interest in Abel Hernandez is increasing after the striker confirmed he would be leaving Hull City on a free transfer this summer.
As Leeds Live report, Leeds United have been keeping tabs on Hernandez for a number of weeks and owner Andrea Radrizzani even held talks with the 27-year-old.

Celtic, Galatasaray, Genoa, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are among the other sides interested in signing the Uruguay international and now another Serie A team have joined the race.
Italian publication Corriere dello Sport reports that Cagliari have been keeping a close eye on Hernandez as they consider bringing the forward back to Italy.

After spending the first years of his senior career in his native Uruguay, the South American first came to Europe when Palermo signed him in February 2009 and the attacker spent five-and-a-half years there before joining Hull.
It is thought the fact that Hernandez is a free transfer is a particularly appealing aspect for the Sardinian outfit.
