Burnley are reportedly ready to battle Newcastle United for Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo.

According to The Mirror, Burnley have joined Newcastle United in the race to sign Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo on loan.
Ojo, 20, joined Liverpool back in 2011 as the Reds raided the Milton Keynes Dons academy to snap up the winger in a multi-million pound deal.

The winger has played just 13 first-team games for Liverpool, and after loan spells with Wigan Athletic and Wolverhampton Wanderers, he was on the fringes of Jurgen Klopp’s first team last season.
Now needing to play games and find fitness, Ojo is attracting loan interest from rival Premier League teams, with The Mirror claiming that Burnley and Newcastle are both keen.

Burnley may have signed Robbie Brady in January, but Sean Dyche still lacks blistering pace out wide, and Ojo could provide that with a loan move to Turf Moor.
Jon Flanagan’s less-than-impressive loan spell with the Clarets last season may just give Liverpool some pause on sending another young player to Turf Moor though, which could allow Newcastle to swoop.

Whilst Christian Atsu has penned a permanent deal at St. James’ Park, talks are continuing with Yoan Gouffran over a new deal, and manager Rafael Benitez may prefer to bring in Ojo on loan for the season.
The youngster impressed as England won the Under-20 World Cup earlier this summer, and with Liverpool set to sign Roma winger Mohamed Salah, a loan exit may be best for all parties – but Liverpool may now be faced with multiple offers for his services.
