The West Bromwich Albion defender is a reported transfer target for Burnley.

Burnley have been linked with a fresh bid for West Brom defender Craig Dawson, according to the Daily Mail.
The Clarets have been linked with a move for the 29-year-old since last summer.
In 2018, Sky Sports reported that Burnley submitted a £25 million combined offer for Baggies duo Dawson and Jay Rodriguez – one that was subsequently rejected by the Black Country outfit.
And now the Daily Mail claims that the Lancashire club are preparing a fresh bid for the West Brom ace, who can play at centre-back or right-back.

Dawson is incredibly experienced and is an extremely competent defender. He would slot seamlessly into Burnley’s setup, what with his superb work-rate and commitment to the cause.
Whilst the report from the Daily Mail fails to mention how much Burnley are prepared to pay for the West Brom man, he is out of contract in the summer of 2020, so Slaven Bilic will surely be tempted to cash in on the 29-year-old now, rather than risk losing him for nothing next year.
