Burnley are reportedly keen on signing the Liverpool hitman.

According to a report from the Independent, Burnley are interested in bringing Liverpool striker Danny Ings back to Turf Moor, following the striker’s admission that he is looking for a move away from Anfield this summer.
The 25-year-old joined the Reds from the Clarets on a free transfer in the summer of 2015, but injures have hampered his progress on Merseyside, with just four goals for Liverpool to his name.

The Independent claims that Sean Dyche remains a big fan of Ings, and is keen to bring him back to Burnley this summer, although the Lancashire outfit will face competition from the likes of Crystal Palace and Newcastle United.

Good signing for Burnley?
Despite Ings’ struggles with form and fitness over the past three years, he still possesses undoubted quality, and if the Clarets manage to pick him up for a reasonable price, it could turn out to be a real coup for Dyche’s side.

The 25-year-old is a clinical finisher when presented with a goalscoring opportunity, but he also possesses the ability to really stretch the opposition’s defence, what with his tireless runs into the channels.
He would undoubtedly add extra quality to Burnley’s forward line, and he could turn out to be an excellent addition to Dyche’s squad this summer.
