Burnley are reportedly in for Charlie Adam.
Stoke’s Charlie Adam on the substitutes bench
Charlie Adam has emerged as a transfer target for newly promoted Burnley, report The Sun.
Burnley clinched promotion from the Championship as champions last season but suffered a blow as Joey Barton left them on a free transfer to Rangers.
Now ex-Gers midfielder Charlie Adam could land up as his replacement.

The Scotsman had a disappointing season last campaign, scoring only one Premier League goal, his lowest ever return in the top flight.
Yet this could also give Stoke City reason to consider parting ways with a player they bought from Liverpool back in 2012.

Adam, 30, has two years left on his current Stoke deal but he could simply be in need of a fresh challenge, which he would get with Sean Dyche’s up and coming Burnley side.
The midfielder also has experience playing in the top flight with Blackpool, for who he netted 12 Premier League goals in one season.
