As you might expect, given that the most reliable of performers has started 30 Premier League games this season, Dyche wants him to stay with Burnley set to offer Cork the chance to sign fresh terms.
Then again, given that the former England international is one of the first names on the team sheet at a side who continue to thrive in arguably the most high-profile competition on planet earth, why on earth would Cork want to leave right now?
