Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall was linked with Sean Dyche’s Burnley in the January transfer window.

Burnley are likely to make a move for Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall in the summer of 2018, according to The Sun.

It has been reported that the Premier League club were interested in securing the services of the 21-year-old defender in the January transfer window.

However, Championship club Forest wanted as much as £20 million for the England Under-21 international, according to the report.

The Sun has claimed that Burnley manager Sean Dyche is likely to make a move for Worrall in the summer of 2018.

Worrall is a very talented and promising young defender who has the potential to be a success in the Premier League, although £20m for him is a bit too much.

Forest, though, should try their best to keep hold onto the 21-year-old, who has been on the books of the Reds since 2011.

The Reds are unlikely to challenge for the Championship playoffs this season, but under manager Aitor Karanka, they will be aiming for the top six during the 2018-19 campaign.
