Burnley are allegedly keen on signing the Birmingham City forward.
According to a report from Sky Sports (live transfer blog, January 31st, 17:48), Burnley have had a fourth bid for Che Adams, this time worth £12 million, rejected by Birmingham City.
The 22-year-old joined the Blues from Sheffield United in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth somewhere in the region of £2 million, and he has gone on to be a real hit at St Andrews, scoring 31 goals in all competitions for the west Midlands club.
Burnley have reportedly been tracking the striker over the past few days, but it seems as though they will have to spend big in order to get their man.
Sky Sports claims that the Clarets have had a £12 million bid rejected for Adams – the fourth offer that they have made for the pacey hitman.
Whether Burnley will come back in with another bid before tonight’s deadline remains to be seen, with Birmingham thought to be holding out for closer to £15 million.
